The Inter-Sector Pitching Competition is an exciting annual event held exclusively for Junior Analysts of the Trinity Student Managed Fund. This team-based competition challenges participants to apply the knowledge gained in their sector meetings by crafting and presenting a compelling “buy” case. Teams consist of 2-5 members, and each sector selects one outstanding pitch to represent them in the Inter-Sector Competition.

From the 13 sector pitches, the strongest entries progress to the semi-final and then to the grand final, where teams compete for a prestigious cash prize. This competition provides participants with a unique opportunity to hone their equity analysis and presentation skills while fostering collaboration and friendly rivalry across the Fund.

The Inter-Sector Pitching Competition is a cornerstone event of the Trinity SMF, offering invaluable experience in equity valuation, investment thesis construction, and risk analysis. Beyond the financial reward, it helps members build confidence, deepen their understanding of the markets, and establish themselves within the Fund.
